JAMMU, Feb 14: Sports Saviours Football Club was among eight winners on Day-3 of the 27th Annual J&K Football Championship, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at twin venues of Mini Stadium, Parade and GGM Science College ground, here.
In the four matches played at Mini Stadium Parade, Sports Saviours FC blanked Churchill Brothers (4-0) in an easy contest, while Arco Club Srinagar drubbed Sainik Colony FC Jammu 4-0, Jammu United scripted a solitary goal win over DFA Anantnag and DFA Srinagar got the better of DFA Sopore by (1-0).
Meanwhile, at GGM Science College ground, DFA Baramulla beat DFA Rafiabad 2-0, J&K Bank Academy prevailed over DFA Budgam 3-0 and DFA Poonch beat Hero Club Jammu (1-0).
