JAMMU, Feb 1: Sprawling Buds ICSE School marked a memorable occasion with its Annual Sports Day, transforming its grounds into a vibrant arena of excitement, competition and camaraderie.
Arti Sharma, Chairperson of the school, officially declared ‘Sports Day 2025’ open, setting the tone for a day of spirited competition. The event featured a diverse range of activities. The event culminated in a prize distribution ceremony where Rahul Sharma, Chairman, and other dignitaries honoured the winners.
First Position holders were Vihaan Sharma, Shiv Pratap, Aaman Ali Khan, Vaishnavi Pandey, Naitik Sharma, Amayra Rajput, Gourish Singh Jamwal, Sehaj Sharma, Ansh Raj Chaubey, Harvansh Gouria, Mannat Rajput, Priyanshi Thakur, Praneeti Choudhary, Ojass Sharma, Himani Chauhan, and Vishav Thakur.
Second Position holders were Dhruv Manhas, Devesh Rana, Shivansh Singh, Divishi Pandita, Zahid Ali, Ifza Basharat, Geetanjli Surmal, Mohd Rakib Qureshi, Sehrish Jan, Tarun Manhas, Suraj Singh, Shumaila, Shaurya Kotwal, Rizwan Ali Khan and Ayaana Bhagat.
Those who got third position were Akshita Parihar, Yakshita Sharma, Yuvi Thakur, Mohd. Azan, Deveshwar Singh Jamwal, Vansh Thakur, Aarush Kumar, Tanavya Singh Chib, Kavya Rajput, Rutvik Karlupia, Yashraj, Tasqeen Anjum, Shuruti Sharma, Samar Singh Katoch and Deepika.
The day also witnessed thrilling matches, with the boys of Class 8 defeating Class 9 in a volleyball match, and the girls of Class 9 emerging victorious in Kho-Kho. Wisdom House triumphed in the Inter-House Tug of War competition.
