Spring Blossom Public School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Jan 19: Spring Blossom Public School celebrated Annual Day with great pomp and show at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground here today.
On the occasion, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture was the chief guest, while KM Wani, Retd IAS (Member Public Service Commission), Rajeshwar Singh, SP South, Surinder Singh Shingari, senior Congress leader and SM Sahni, Retd Director, Spiritual Growth Center were the guests of honour.
The programme started with lightning of lamp by Raman Bhalla along with all guest members and Principal Divya Gupta.
Dr Sudhir Mahajan, renowned theatre Director and Writer, presented the welcome address and also read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
On the occasion, students presented various cultural items including Saraswati Vandana, Punjabi dance, Dogri dance, Marathi dance, etc. The fancy dress competition was the highlight of the function, which kept the audience spell bound for hours together.
While speaking, Raman Bhalla said that teachers have great responsibility on their shoulders to mould the students’ personality not for their future only but for the enrichment and betterment of the society, national and humanity.
Later, Minister along with other dignitaries presented mementoes and awards to the meritorious students, who brought laurels to the school in the field of education, sports and culture.
At the end, Sunita Kapoor presented vote of thanks.
