JAMMU, Dec 25: Spring Blossom’s Public School celebrated its Foundation in the form of Annual Day at Government Women College Gandhi Nagar, here today.
ADGP Dilbag Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ghanshyam Dev Gupta, Principal Govt Medical College, Jammu presided over the function and S Charandeep Singh, Additional Secretary to Govt Higher Education Department was the guest of honour. Prem Singh Chib, Personal Officer, Directorate of School Education, Jammu and Dr Sudhir Mahajan were the special guests on the occasion.
The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, who paid rich tributes to late Sudagar Shah, Founder of the School.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Dilbag said that the teachers have the responsibility of moulding personality of the students, not for their future only but for the enrichment and betterment of the society, nation and humanity too.
Mementoes and other prizes were distributed among the students by the dignitaries present on the occasion, who also expressed their views about the subject.
The activities performed by the students included Saraswati Vandana, Fancy Dress, Hawan Krenge, Marathi Dance, Punjabi Dance, Couple Dance, Chinese Dance, Theme of Animals, Dogri Dance, Contemporary Dance, Desh Bhakti Dance, Western Dance and Martial Arts Activities.
