KATHUA, Nov 12: Spring Dales English School, Kathua, held a programme today, celebrating the appointment of new student leaders for the 2024-2025 academic session.
Shobhit Saxena, SSP Kathua was the chief guest while guest of honour was Mangat Ram Sharma, Chief Education Officer (Kathua), who inspired the students with their encouraging words.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the esteemed guests, followed by the badge and sash conferral on the newly appointed members of the Student Council. Head Boy Vineet Kumar and Head Girl Rashi Sharma, along with Vice Head Boy Akshit Sharma, Vice Head Girl Himani Sharma, and Sports Captain Sehaj Sharma, took a solemn oath to uphold the values of integrity and responsibility.
House Captains and Vice Captains, including Naina Sharma (Shaurya House), Tamanna Jasrotia (Shaurya House), Dhriti Bawa (Maurya House), Krishna Sharma (Maurya House), Bhumika Sharma (Kavya House), Rishab Kher (Kavya House), Ishanavi Sharma (Surya House), and Sankarshan Mahajan (Surya House), were also honoured with their badges. A cultural performance, featuring a traditional Dogri dance and a skit on Shivaji Maharaj’s bravery, added a special touch to the ceremony.
