KATHUA, Aug 31: Spring- dales English School Changran organized a function in the school premises, here today, wherein SSP Romesh Chander Kotwal was the chief guest.
Anuradha, PSI Women Cell Kathua, Director Prof RK Gupta and Principal Usha Gupta graced the event, wherein students dressed in resplendent house colours, marching to the beat of the drums, added to the grandeur of the event.
The chief guest commended the efforts of the School management, staff and students and encouraged them to achieve the ultimate and do their best in all their future endeavours. The chief guest was pleased to know the past achievements of the School like selection of student by Fox History amongst top 5 nationalist, securing 99.99 percentile in IIT JEE Mains exam, securing 1st position in Jammu region for 12th Class JK Board Examinations and Atal Tinkering Lab by NITI AAYOG etc.
The chief guest formally inducted the Head Boy Nitish, Head Girl Raghvi, Vice Head Boy Moksh, Vice Head Girl Rashiand, Sport Captain Rajat by handing over the ceremonial sash. The captains and vice captains of four Houses (Captains –Shaurya House-Taniya, Maurya House-Mahika, Kavya House-Verdha, Surya House-Shivki and vice captains –Shaurya House-Sharanya, Maurya House-Bhoomika, Kavya House-Ratish, Surya House-AbhayPratap) were inducted.
Following this was the oath-taking ceremony wherein the newly appointed leaders pledged to devote the best of their ability, knowledge, power, duty and discipline in accordance to the vision and mission of their alma mater.
The ceremony concluded with Vande Mataram.
