SAMBA, Apr 25: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District, Samba organized Inter School District Level Sqay Martial Art Championship at Humanity Public High School,Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, here today.
All the five zones participated in the tournament with total number of 26 participants from all over the district.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the Gaurav Charak, Principal of the School and Anku Charak, under the supervision of ZEPO Pardeep Singh.
The championship was held under the guidance of Director General YS & Sports, Jahangir Mir.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest threw light on the importance of sports and games and urged the student players to participate in the sports activities with enthusiasm and fervour.
The matches were officiated by Anirudh Singh Slathia, Ravinder Singh Bali, Raju Sharma, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Pankaj Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Rekha Sambyal, Suman Bala, Nav Jyoti and Akriti Sumbria.
