JAMMU, Aug 30: The 26th J&K-UT Senior Taekwondo Championships (Kyorugi/Poomsae/Para) 2023 – 24 under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI), supported by J&K Sports Council will commence from tomorrow at Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, here.
The championship is open to all senior men and women athletes, aged above 17 years and holder of Kukkiwon 1st Dan Black Belt (Register under TFI & JKTA) as per the guidelines of Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI). Only players are eligible to take part in the above-mentioned events who have participated in their concerned district championships 2023-24
The organisers said JKTA Athlete License is mandatory for all athletes to participate as no entries will be accepted without the JKTA License.
The statement said the medallist players will represent J&K-UT in the upcoming 39th National Senior Kyorugi Taekwondo Championships 2023 and 12th National Senior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships 2023 from 9th to 11th September at Karambir Nabin Chandra Bordoloi A.C. Indoor Stadium, Sarusajai Sports Complex, Sarusajai, Guwahati, Assam.
In addition to this J&K Taekwondo Association also arrange the pre-participation coaching camp for the selected players will be from 1st to 5th September 2023 at Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha Parade, Jammu Moreover, all players are advised to report Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, Jammu on 31st of August 2023 at 9:00 AM sharp.
