JAMMU, Nov 24: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today conducted an exclusive workshop in General Studies for the IAS aspirants from Jammu and Kashmir.
The workshop was conducted by young Indian Revenue Ser-vices (IRS) officer of 2018 batch, Atul Chowdhary. This over two hour long guidance cum interaction session proved to be a useful exercise for young graduates and undergraduates from the Union Territory of J&K aiming at the UPSC examinations.
The visiting officer addressed to a range of issues pertaining to the most competitive examination, touching the current pattern of questions, selection of books and available study material as also ways and means to secure most marks for their answers.
“Such workshops and interactive sessions always help Civil Services aspirants to learn from the experiences of those successful individuals. The interaction helps students take up the preparation in a professional manner,” informed Centre Head of SRCC, Praful Sharma.
Meanwhile, the College also continued with their Test Series for both Preliminary and Mains examinations of the UPSC. Those students preparing for the Preliminary examination had their tests for Science and Technology, Ecology and Environment. For Mains, the College conducted tests in Governance, Constitution and Polity.
