JAMMU, July 22: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today held multiple activities of free workshops and test series to help students prepare for the upcoming UPSC (IAS) and JKPSC (KAS) examinations.
The activities were aimed at bringing the resource persons from outside the guide with those college going students and graduates in a professional manners for various competitive examinations, especially Civil Services.
“During the free workshops for General Studies and Optionals, the visiting faculties, Gautam Pandey and Goutam Kumar from Delhi guided the target students about the ways and means to prepare for the IAS and KAS. They also listed the books to be consulted for reference purposes and the role of coaching in competitive examinations,” said Centre Head SRCC, Praful Sharma.
Special guidance sessions have become a regular phenomenon at the SRCC with weekly and fortnightly programmes organised aiming at building the confidence of the J&K students.
In the meantime, the SRCC continued with its month-long test series for the KAS Preliminary examination.
Today, around 200 students appeared in the General Studies Paper-I, Polity and Governance as also CSAT.
