JAMMU, Mar 5: Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public Higher Secondary Sehool, Kunjwani celebrated Annual Prize Distribution Function in the School Auditorium , here today.
Prof Harbans Singh, Chairmanf Guru Nanak College of Education was the chief guest, while Principal, Gurtaj Singh was guest of honour. The event started with a colourful programme under the theme Save Nature.
Students from Nursery to 9th classes participated in different cultural items related to theme of Air, Water and Trees.
After the programme, Administrator of the School, Charanjeet Kour threw light on all the activities held in the school during the year 2015 and appreciated the performance of the participants.
A Prize Distribution Ceremony began with distribution of prizes among tiny toddlers.
In Poem Recitation, Hafsa Bhatti got 1st Prize, Mansa Manhas got 2nd and Gagandeep Kour claimed 3rd prize.
In Story Telling Competition, Kartika stood 1st, Vandana 2nd and the 3rd prize went to Bhumi.
In Extempore, Kajal got 1st prize, Arshdeep Kour won 2nd prize and Pooja claimed 3rd prize, while in GK Quiz Competition, Sohani Sharma won 1st prize, Indumeet Singh clinched 2nd and Praneet Kour got 3rd prize.
In Debate, Baldeep got 1st, Guneet 2nd and 3rd the prize was won by Shivani.
The prizes were distributed among the winners by the Chairman and Principal of the School.
The event came to an end with the vote of thanks presented by Coordinator, Gagandeep Kour.
