Srinagar, Aug 28: Semi-final hockey matches were held in an ongoing Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tournament Srinagar here today which was sponsored by the Indian Army under the aegis of Hockey J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The 1st Seminal match was played between Baramulla and Anantnag in which Baramulla won the match by 4-1. Hardeep Singh from Baramulla scored 2 goals; Gurpreet Singh (07) and Gurpreet Singh (12) scored one goal each. From Anantnag , the only goal was secured by Sameer.
While in the 2nd Semi Final which was played between Srinagar and Kupwada in which Srinagar won the match by 2-1. Shahid from Baramulla was man of the match in the 1st match. While Pawan Singh (Goalkeeper) from Srinagar was man of the match in the 2nd match.
