UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: District Youth Services and Sports Department, Udhampur organized a UT Level Inter District Basketball Tournament for girls across all age groups.
The event was held under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Rajinder Singh Tara and under the leadership of District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai with supervision from District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Romesh Chander Mishra.
The tournament saw participation of 186 athletes from across J&K.
Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Rajinder Singh was the chief guest with Raj Guru, President of Sports Management, gracing the occasion as guest of honor.
In the tournament, in U17 Final, Srinagar triumphed over Doda with a commanding score of 20-04 and in U19 Final, Jammu secured victory against Udhampur, concluding with a score of 14-08.
The success of this grand event was bolstered by the contributions of Jatinder Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Somdev Khajuria, Ramesh Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Bhoopinder Singh, Karun Magotra and Jatin Sethi.
The execution of the tournament was orchestrated by well-structured committees with technical committee led by Deep Kumar (ZPEO Udhampur) with Ravi Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Manik Nargotra, Ranbir Singh, Jyoti Sharma and Ishang Bandral.
