SRTC pensioners, VRS workers’ plea to Vohra

JAMMU, Feb 24:  The SRTC pensioners and VRS accorded workers have urged upon the State Governor NN Vohra to  resolve their pending issues and accord them justice.
While the VRS given workers held brief protest at Exhibition Ground today demanded release of their arrears, members of SRTC/GTU Pensioners Welfare Association during a meeting held under the leadership of Ajit Singh Adyal appealed the Governor to address their financial issues, pertaining to payment of 6th Pay Commission,  COLA/DA arrears.
They also demanded  to provide special financial package to the JKSRTC so that management could clear the pending liabilities. They also demanded all pension benefits and proper implementation of SRO-43 in the Corporation.
