JAMMU, June 5: Arrears of Sixth Pay Commission from January 2006 among other demands were raised by the SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association today.
In a press conference here Association president, Dev Raj Bali also demanded cost of living allowance from the year 1999 and implementation of corporation’s benefits for the retired employees of SRTC.
Talking to reporters Bali claimed that Finance Department and Transport Higher Authorities are harassing them without any logic.
He also said that previous budget of J&K Government had released Rs. 100 crore in which their dues were to be cleared but nothing like that had happened.
He appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to intervene into the matter.
