RAJOURI, Feb 16: Socio Service Art Socio Group, Delhi conducted a 15 days Innovative Art Workshop/programme with the border children and youth attending Army Good Will Public School in Rajouri . In the programme about 100 children and youth hailing from different parts of state participated. The programme concluded here today.
During the programme mental exercises, group analytical drama, visual art, Music, Creative writing, Mask Making, Clay moulding and Cultural History activities were incorporated which improved the imaginative skills and proved helpful in building confidence among the participants.
On the concluding function the participants performed 2 short plays, musical items paintings, masks and clay models were also exhibited on the concluding function.
Shabir Ahmad Bhat, D.C Rajouri, was chief guest on this occasion. He lauded the performances done by the participants and also lauded the efforts of Socio Service Art Group for holding these programmes in border areas and other areas in J&K continuously for the last 16 years. He also distributed awards and certificates among the participants at the end of the programme. Col. Ranjan Prabhu was also present on this function. He appreciated the performances done by participants on concluding day.
The programme was conducted by experts namely, Anil K Razdan, Gulshan Walia, Jasleen Singh, Swatantra, Pervaiz Malik, Ashfaq Mir, Vishal Pahari , Atul Gupta and Mustafa.
