SSB organizes prog in honour of ‘Oorja’ Football Tournament

JAMMU, June 9: In honour of the ‘Ooorja’ Under-19 Talent Hunt Football Tournament, Sashashtra Seemal Bal (SSB) organized an impressive Curtain Raiser Programme at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here today.
Minister for PHE, Shyam Lal Choudhary inaugurated the Programme as chief guest.
Tajamul Islam, International Karateka was named Brand Ambassador of the Tournament.
Mr Manvendra, Deputy Inspector General, SHQ SSB Jammu gave brief report of the Tournament, while SK Tiwari, DIG SSB Srinagar; Harvinder Pla, DIG BSF, Ajay Kumar, Commandant 66 Battalion, VS Jamwal, Second-I-Command and Deputy Commandants Barjeet Singh and Jeet Lal were present in the programme.
Ace sportspersons Jatin Sabarwal, Mitali, Atul Panmgotra, Rajesh Anand, Kamaljeet Singh and Vikram Sharma were also present on the occasion.
A variety of cultural items were presented on the occasion and the highlights of them were ‘bangra’ presented by SSB Jawans and beautiful presentation by the students of Art and Cultural Academy, Jammu.
