SSJAC gets support of more scholars, students

JAMMU, Apr 2: A meeting of Jammu University scholars and students was convened by Students Scholar Joint Action Committee (SSJAC) on the campus for discussing further strategy over the issue of admissions.
In the meeting, NSF provincial general secretary Pushpinder Singh and city vice president Sheetal Aryan announced their resignation from basic membership of NSF for extending support to the ongoing struggle of students and scholars.
They pledged to fight for the genuine cause of students and scholar community who are agitating for the admission in various departments of University of Jammu.
The meeting was attended by SSJAC chairman Varinder Singh Chib, NSUI State president Neeraj Kundan, Nishant Verma, Parduman Singh, Payal, Varinder Kour, Ajay Prasar, Aman Rana, Gagandeep Singh, Jahawaz, Ajit Sharma and others.
The meet unanimously resolved to fight collectively for the cause of scholars who are suffering due to the alleged callous attitude of administration.
Varinder Singh Chib said that the agitating scholars were very much satisfied with the assurance of Dean Research Studies Prof Posh Charak but doubt the promises made by the higher ups in the administration who were changing their statements everyday. He also warned the JU administration that the aggrieved scholars would intensify their struggle if they are denied their right to education.
