Jammu, Aug 22: SSP Samba, Shakti Kumar Pathak held the Darbar of Jawans of district police Samba at DPL, Shah Balode Samba which was attended by all the supervisory officers, SHOs/ IC PPs & the Police personnel from different subordinate units of district Samba. The main objective of the Darbar was to interact with the jawans, listen to their grievances/problems and for their immediate redressal.
At the beginning of the Darbar, SSP Samba appreciated the officers and jawans of District Police Samba for performing their duties with utmost dedication and maintaining the law & order in the district in view of present security scenario.
SSP Samba in his address advised the police personnel to adequately focus on their duties, directed them to exercise maximum restraint while dealing with any law & order situation, restore public faith in police machinery besides asking them to remain mentally prepared to counter any challenge.
During the Darbar, SSP samba listened the problems and other issues projected by the jawans patiently and assured them for speedy redressal of their genuine problems.
SSP Samba further directed the Jawans to remain punctual and extra vigilant at their respective duty points to avoid any untoward incident. They were also advised to follow a balance nutritional diet and keep their body/ mind healthy and fit. They were also directed to be in good turnout during duty hours. With regard to welfare measures, the officials were assured that due care will be taken in this aspect to meet the aspiration of serving officials. Additional SP Samba and Dy. SP DAR Samba were also present in the Darbar.
