SSP Samba honours Int’l visually impaired cricketers

SAMBA, Oct 8: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Benam Tosh honoured international player of blind cricket Rohit Sharma, national players Saddam Hussein and Imam Hussein for excellence in sports.
Rohit Sharma of R.S. Pura, Jammu has participated in at least two international blind cricket events and brought laurels for J&K, whereas Saddam Hussein of Panasa, Reasi and Imam Hussein of Bishnah have participated in national blind cricket events at least four times each and won the matches.
SSP Samba Benam Tosh congratulated the great international and national players of J&K for their wonderful achievements in their unique field and wished them all the best for future progress.
SSP Samba was accompanied by Additional Superintendent of Police Samba Surinder Choudhary and other officers, officials at the simple but impressive felicitation ceremony organised at Samba to honour the shining players.
