St. Joseph’s School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 28: The students with their parents, staff and the management of St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Nagrota, Jammu celebrated 20th Annual Day here today.
The function was held in the presence of the chief guest, Ivan Albert Pereira, the Bishop and president of the Diocese of Jammu Srinagar Education Society, Colonel Shajan Thomas, Deputy Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarter Jammu, Advocate Raman Wazir, Sarpanch, School Manager Jose John, Principal Vinaya, parents and other dignitaries.
“Indeed, Unity in Diversity is India’s strength. There is simplicity in every Indian and unity in every corner. Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and test of our civilization,” said Principal Vinaya.
The event included a series of thematic performances ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism, Unity in Diversity, social issues, in the form of dazzling dances, skits, and many more. The event concluded with a vote of thanks followed by a colourful grant finale and National Anthem.
Chief Guest, Ivan Albert Pereira honoured and appreciated the academic toppers with prizes. He also praised the excellent performance of the students on stage. He made a point to remind the parents about their role in the education of their wards.
