JAMMU, Aug 5 : A unique club exhibition QUAESTA 2022 – A Petrine Forage is now open in the heart of the City of Temples – our own city of Jammu since this morning at St. Peter’s High School. B C Road (Jammu).
Even the heavy pouring of rains did not dampen the spirit of school students, the members of the staff, parents and the school management.
In an opening ceremony, Rizwan Uddin, the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh appreciated the students, the staff and the school management for their hard work. He was visibly overwhelmed by the fascinating creations of the students belonging to Peace Club, Heritage Club, Math Club, Computer Club, Nature Club, Sports Club, Wellness Team, Young Students Movement, Literary Club, Art Club and the students of the Primary Classes.
Rizwan Uddin, an enthusiastic cyclist, motivator and trainer who was the chief guest of the opening ceremony arrived at the venue by cycling amidst the heavy showers of morning rains. He described the event as ‘a wonderful initiative and elaborately designed’ creation which will go a long way in the lives of the students and the staff.
The students also displayed Dogra, Kashmiri and Ladakhi cultures through different mesmerizing dances. Rev. Fr. Satrunino, Rev Fr. Aswin, Rev. Fr. Christope, Rev. Fr. Peter Paul, Rev Fr. Vijay Linda and Rev. Sr. Sheetal were the guests of honor for the opening ceremony. The chief guests and the guests of honour had relished a traditional Dogra breakfast from the school Dogra kitchen.
During the afternoon, parents and visitors poured in enormous numbers, despite the interrupting rains. All visitors and the parents marvelled at the creations of the little Petrines and heaped upon them huge appreciations.
