JAMMU, Oct 4: The Stairs Youth District Games concluded at KC International School, Jammu, featuring a Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organized by Stairs J&K, recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Under the supervision of Gulshan Rattan, Chief Sports Coordinator J&K, the tournament included 16 enthusiastic teams.
Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the State Development Board Stairs JK, attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest, stressing the importance of discipline and patience for budding sportspersons guest of honour Anupama Sinha remarked that sports not only promote physical and mental health but also enhance vital life skills.
In the results, KCPS 1 register victory over KCIS T2 by 5 wickets in the U-16 boys’ category, while KCPS also triumphed against MLZS by 30 runs in the U-14 boys’ category.
The event was further supported by Ashish Jain and Puneet Arora, with the tournament conducted under Chetan Kotwal’s supervision, highlighting a strong commitment to nurturing young talent in the region.
