SRINAGAR, June 25: Star Club Social Welfare Society organized three days Science Gadget at Government Higher Secondary School Kothi Bagh, here.
Minister for Education Naeem Akhtar and Director School Education inaugurated this Science Gadget programme.
The programme was based on Scientific Book/ Model Exhibition, Scientific Explanation of so called Miracle, Science in daily life, Food adulteration, etc.
Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar stated that such steps from Star Club society will be stepping stones in bringing Kashmir back to its heavenly existence.
Later, chief guest of the function, Nayeem Akhter also distributed prizes among participants.
Around 206 participants from various schools of Kashmir region participated in different competitions including drawing, painting, drama, essay and debate competitions.
During this science gadget, screening of international award winning film “Identity Card” was screened for students followed by interaction with Award winning filmmaker Rahat Kazmi.
Principal of GHHS Kothi Bagh spoke in length about the importance of Science Gadget.
Zahid Qureshi, an expert on literacy, Tariq Khan, Chairman of Society, Javed Bandey from Canada and Zia Ahmed Khan were also present.
