Start curative classes for weaker students: Rana

MENDHAR, May 9: Javed Ahmed Rana, MLA Mendhar, has asked the Education Department to start “curative classes” for academically weaker students to make their academic journey hassle-free.
Rana directed the authorities of school to start curative classes for academically weaker students which are meant for the students who need extra help.
He suggested this during an interaction with the students and staff of Higher Secondary School Chattral and HSS Mendhar.
Rana said that the Government should initiate various measures to make the academic journey of our students hassle-free so that they can compete not only at the national but international level as well and make our State proud.
He interacted with students and teachers, and gave them directions for organizing competitions with students of model schools and convent schools in the region. He also directed the Chief Education Officer Poonch to start extra classes at the school.
The MLA directed the staff of the school to teach and converse with students in English medium. He also reviewed the progress on the construction of Examination Hall at Chattral and GHSS Mendhar.
Rana also demanded model Schools at block level and asked State Government as well as Government of India to adopt at least one school in every block as a Model School to imart quality education to talented children.
Rana also asked to Ministry of  Education to provide full staff and Hostel facilities to the students as well as teaching staff in remote areas.
