JAMMU, Aug 22: The State Government today accorded sanction for constitution of State Advisory Group to roll out the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The mandate of the State Advisory Group shall be to provide guidance, advice and support to State Project Monitoring Unit (SPMU) for addressing State level implementation specific coordination with other departments, capacity building requirements in the State and review progress of implementation.
Headed by Chief Secretary as its Chairman, the State Advisory Group will have Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Finance Department, Health & Medical Education Department, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, RDD & Panchayati Raj Department, Social Welfare and School Education Department besides Accountant General (A&E), J&K and any other officer as may be co-opted by the Chairman of the Group, if required, as the members.
