JAMMU, Feb 1: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association has selected State Bench-Press Power Lifting (M&W) team for National (M&W) Bench-Press Championship and also for trials for the Asian Power Lifting Championship going to be held at Hongkong in the month of May, 2015.
The trials for Asian Powerlifting Championship will be held at Jamshedpur from March 4 to 7, 2015.
The team has been selected by the association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain (general secretary), Anil Saini (secretary), Gurumukh Singh (Joint secretary) and Vijay Choudhary, Rakesh Kumar and Preet Dutta (joint secretaries).
The Men Team: Tarun Dev Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Rohit Singh Jamwal, Shivcharan, Naginder Singh, Pankaj Verma, Vijay Choudhary, Rahul Singh, Sunil Gupta, Sumit, Varun, Vineet Sharma, Parul Nanda, Gurvinder Singh, Deeraj Salathia, Pushpinder, Rajneesh Sharma, Faisal, Meer Jan, Gulam Rasool and Quadri Manzoor.
The Women Team: Suman Devi, Pushpa, Sunita, Inderjeet Kour, Rajni Sharma, Ruhi, Solanna Begam, Nazia and Harmeet Kour.
Rajan Jain will accompany the team with his officials.
