Jammu, Mar 17: Three days State Cycling Champio-nship concluded at Bhure Chack Stadium, Phallian Mandal, here today.
Dr Ashutosh Sharma, Vice President JKOA was the chief guest on the occasion.
65 Cyclists from Reasi, Baramulla, Budgam, Ganderbal, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Anantnag and Jammu took part in the Championship.
The Championship was organized under the supervision of S. Ravinder Singh, President J&K Cycling Association and other members of the Association.
The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Vikas Gupta, General
Secretary Judo Association, Vishesh K. Sharma, Executive member Cycling Association and Sahil Raina, Executive member J&K Cycling Association.
In Senior above 19 years boys, Parvez got 1st position, Waheed Ahmed bagged 2nd position and Aakarshit Pathak claimed 3rd spot.
In Junior 17-18 years boys, Mushtaq Ahmed won 1st place, Amir Farooq won 2nd position and Amit Samyal clinched 3rd position.
In Sub Junior (15-16 years), Anurag Bharti bagged 1st position, Kavyaam won 2nd position and Danish Bashir claimed 3rd position, while in Under-14 years boys, Shabir Ahmed Dar won 1st position, Jehangir Ahmed clinched 2nd spot and Adnan won 3rd position.
