SRINAGAR: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered for the conduct of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls and has fixed January 1, 2018 as the qualifying date in J&K.
All the eligible citizens who will be attaining the age of 18 years or above on January 1, 2018 are requested to register themselves in the Electoral Roll.
As per the programme devised by the State Election Department (SED), the Special Camps will be organized on October 14 and October 21, 2017. Besides addition, deletion, modification ( in particulars of name or address) if any and transposition within Assembly Constituency (AC) will also be done during these camps.
The Booth Level Officers (BLO) will be available in their Polling Stations during the working hours on the dates scheduled for organizing Special Camps. The candidates can also apply online on website www.nvsp.in.
