BARAMULLA, July 24: State Level Junior Lawn Tennis Tournament for boys and girls of J&K organised on the eve of 125th Birthday Anniversary of Brigadier Rajinder Singh at Pir Panjal Brigade, Rampur, Baramulla under the aegis of Chinar Corps and Dagger Division have been concluded here today.
The tournament featured participants in under-12 and under-16 categories, competing in both singles and doubles events. The initiative aims to encourage young athletes to embrace a healthy lifestyle through the sport of tennis.
During the tournament, players showcased their skills and determination. The tournament’s final was held today where the winners & runner-up in each category were awarded.
Dagger Division and Pir Panjal Brigade expressed its gratitude for the support from the community and emphasized the importance of such events in fostering camaraderie and discipline among the youth. The tournament is expected to become an annual tradition, contributing to the growth of tennis and overall physical well-being in the region.
