PATTAN, Aug 4: In connection with Seerat-u-Nabi (SAW), a State level written quiz contest on the glorious life of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) under the aegis of Bait-ul-Maal was held in Jamia Masjid Pattan today. In all, 160 candidates including 40 females representing various districts of J&K participated. Nissar Ahmad Khan of Ganjipora Pattan bagged first prize of Rs. 20,000 while Waseem Ahmad Lone of Buran Pattan and Shahid Rashid Najar of Jamia Mohalla Pattan shared 2nd position jointly and won cash prize of Rs. 9,500 each. Other seven position holders were also awarded cash prizes
A large number of people including Mufti Abdul Rehman Imami Jamia Masjid, Amre-Bait-ul-Maal, Chairman Jamia Masjid, members of Bait-ul-Maal and programme Coordinator and Ex. Information Officer were present at the prize distribution function held on the occasion.
