JAMMU, Jan 4: After organizing State (M&W) Powerlifting Championship, J&K Sports Power Lifting Association selected State Powerlifting Men and Women team for the participation in the Junior and Master National Powerlifting Championship-2016 to be held at Gudiyattam, KMG College of Art and Science, Vellore in Tamil Nadu from January 24 to January 28, 2016.
The team was selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary and Narinder Singh, secretary. Ch Lal Singh, Minister for Health and Medical Education was present on the occasion to boost the morale of the players alongwith SP City, Mr Chouhan.
Selected players included Feroz Khan, Pawan Kumar, Bhaskar Sharma, Sandeep Kumar, Bhanu, Shakher, Vikramjeet Singh, Rohit Salaria, Harish Sharma, Deeshant Khajuria and Rohan.
Rajan Jain will accompany the team along with other officials.
