JAMMU, July 23: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association organized a State Powerlifting Championship (M&W) unequipped and equipped at RKM gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here today.
Over 150 participants participated in this championship, which was concluded by Vikram Malotra, General Secretary JKPCC)
He was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Association, Rajan Jain.
The chief guest and the General Secretary distributed medals and trophies among the powerlifters on the occasion.
Gourav Sontra was declared as the Powerman, while the gold medalists included Shubham, Ankush Bhatia, Shivam Gupta, Danish Sharma, Ashish Singh, Karan Dogra, Mohd.Umar Qureshi, Arun Kumar, Sumit Manawa, Shahbaaz Naik, Nihal, Sahil Chowdhary, Dilawar Singh, Amandeep Singh, Samarth, Deepanshu, Raza Butt, Gorav Sontra and Shubham Mehta.
The silver medallists included Deep Singh, Shubham, Manjeet Singh, Sumeshwar Sharma, Rahul, Nikhil, Inderjeet Singh, Harshit Sadotra,Manav Lamba, Harsh Dev Singh, Anoop Sharma, Honey Mehra, Vashu Gandotra and Azar Khan and the bronze medals went to Honey Singh, Pankil Chib, Atul Sharma, Marshal Singh,Tashu, Sahil Chowdhary, Rajat Sharma, Parul Gupta, Shamli Rajput, Pinki Mehra, Aaina Puri and Damini Chowdhary.
