JAMMU, Dec 25: State Junior and Master Powerlifting team was selected for National Junior and Master Powerlfting Championship, here today.
J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized State (M&W) Junior and Master Powerlifting trials and selected the team for participation in the National Junior & Master Powerlifting Championship to be held at Jamshedpur (Tatanagar) from December 29 to December 31, 2015.
The team was selected by the Association on the basis of merit in presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary, Vikas Bhatti, Senior PDP Leader and Narinder Pal Singh, media secretary.
In men’s category, the selected players include Vikramjeet Singh, Tarun Dev Singh and Puran Singh.
Rajan Jain, general secretary of the Association will accompany the team alongwith other officials.
