JAMMU, Aug 30: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association organised a State (M&W) Unequipped Powerlifting Championship and selected State Powerlifting Men and Women team for their participation in the Senior-National (M&W) Unequipped Powerlifting Championship-2018 to be held at Dalli Rajhara (Chhatisgarh) from September 4 to 7, 2018.
The team has been selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rakesh Jain, President of the Association and Rajan Jain, General Secretary of the Association.
Raman Bhalla, Senior Congress leader and former Minister interacted with the selected players on the occasion.
The team: (Men); Manpreet Singh, Anil Kumar, Paras Mahajan, Shubam Gupta, Damandeep Singh, Gourav Sharma, Kamaljeet Singh, Gourav Sontra, Himanshu Gupta, Aditya Behl, Gourav Bakshi.
Rajan Jain will accompany the team alongwith other officials.
