State Roller Skates Sports C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Feb 21: Four days long Roller Skates Sports Championship, organsied by J&K Roller Skating Association, concluded at Peer Kho, here today.
J&K UT BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. While addressing the players and gathering he said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have immense talent which needs to be promoted at the national level and the BJP-led Central Government is working tirelessly for that.
Hockey Club Classico and Roller Athlete Club lifted the titles in senior and master categories respectively. In inline category, Indiana Club clinched Gold medal and in speed event, medals were distributed among players.
Viraaj Gandotra won Bronze medal, Puneesh Pur clinched two Golds and one Silver, Tamanna Saini clinched three Gold medals, Manya Raina secured three Gold medals, Udhay won two Gold medal and one Silver medal, whereas Angad Singh bagged one Gold and two Silver medals. Pargeet Kour won two Gold medals and one Bronze medal and Ruhika Raina clinched three Gold medals, Kartikeya Puri secured three Gold medals, Samarjot Singh three Bronze medals, Ranveer Shan won three Silver medals, Vanshaj Sharma won two Gold medals and one Bronze medal and Garima Jamwal secured three Gold medals.
The senior BJP leader said that the Union Government is committed to overall development of sports infrastructure and sportspersons in the J &K.
Sethi also interacted with the participants at the championship and assured his complete support and help in the future. President JKRSA GS Khurmi presented vote of thanks.
