State Rope Skipping Team wins 27 medals in Nationals

JAMMU, Dec 8: J&K State Rope Skipping Team won 27 medals with I Gold, 12 Silver and 14 Bronze medals in the recently concluded 19th National Rope Skipping Championship at International Delhi Public School, here.
The Championship was organized by Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of Rope Skipping Federation of India.
350 students participated from 12 States.
Yogesh Sawhney, former Minister was the chief guest, while Kuldeep Sharma, vice president, National Institute of Public Cooperation & Child Development was the guest of honour.
Nirdesh Sharma, Secretary General and Silesh Shukla President, Rope Skipping Federation of India were also present on the occasion.
Nitin Kumar won Gold medal, Radhik Sharma, Vanshaj Sharma, Kamakshi Sharma, Kamadhya Sharma, Palak Sharma, Tabrej Ansari, Kesar Bhagat, Angel Thakur, Gunika Sharma, Sunniya , Mohim Azhar and Dhruv bagged Silver medals and Lakshyadeep Sharma, Sneha Ganjoo, Vaishali Devi, Priyanka Bhagat, Vardaan Singh, Akarsh Tungotra, Krish Kumar, Sudiksha Sharma, Aditya Sharma, Azeen Iqbal Bhat, Vikas Sharma, Janvi Rajput, Arpan Pandita and Gurkiret Singh won bronze medals.
The team was trained by Danish Sharma, who accompanied the team as Coach.
