JAMMU, Jan 2: J&K State Taekwondo Championship got underway at MA Stadium, here today.
The opening ceremony was held amidst huge applause from the players.
The championship is being organized by the Taekwondo Association of Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of Taekwondo Federation of India.
The championship was inaugurated by State Additional Treasurer BJP, Arvind Gupta in the presence of BJP State Vice-President Parmod Kapahi, a special guest.
While giving information about the championship, Arvind Gupta said that a total of 245 players in the age groups of 10-24 years are participating in this event.
Satish Gupta, Karan Chopra and Gourav Arora were among the prominent persons present during the ceremony.
