JAMMU, Nov 15: State Junior Taekwondo team is going to participate in 32nd Junior National Taekwondo Championships scheduled to be held at Arunachal Pradesh from November 18th to 21st.
The players selected for the National championship are Aquib Gulzar, Sanket Sharma, Deeraj Kumar, Suhail Ahmed Ganai, Narmita Katoch, Sidhika Charak and Heena Bali.
Rajat Thakur will be the coach of the State contingent, while, Nitish Kumar will be the manager and Adnan Beig will be technical official.
Earlier, the State team was selected during 14th J&K State Taekwondo Championship conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA). The players, who bagged gold medals in this championship, were selected for this National championship.
After this State championship, JKTA organized coaching camp in which coach Atul Pangotra imparted training to the selected players. During the camp JKTA provided all facilities to players and sponsor all the players for the National championship.
