State Taekwondo teams leave for Vishakhapatnam

JAMMU, Feb 24: The J &K state Taekwondo Junior (boys and girls) Kyorugi and Poomsae team left Jammu for Vishakhapatnam to participate in the 34th Junior National Taekwondo (Kyorugi & Poomsae) Championships being held from February 26 to March 1, 2015 at Sports Complex, Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chairman J&K Taekwondo Association,  Anil Gupta (Anu), president P.C. Sharma and general secretary, D. N. Pangotra, wished the young team a success in the forthcoming National Championship.
The teams:
Kyorugi Boys: Raghav Sharma (45 kg), Rajwinder Singh (48kg), Aquib Gulzar (51 kg), Inayat Hussain (55 kg), Rohit Sharma  (59kg), Rameez Hussain (63 Kg), Majeed Nabi Paray (68Kg), Tajamul Ahmad Khan (73 Kg), Banu Sharma (78 Kg)  Poomsae Boys: Surinder Singh Slathia (Poomsae),  Boys Team Coach: Zaheer Abbas Khan Kyorugi Girls: Pooja Sharma (42 kg), Ashima Sharma (45 kg), Pallavi Dingra  (48kg) and  Stuti.
Girls Team Coach: Rajan Jamwal and  Team Manager: Nitin Singh Rathore.
The technical officials for the National Championship Atul Pangotra  (NIS) and Brinder Singh Manhas have also left for the venue.
