Everyone knows that the state Government had many times assured that sewerage work would be all completed in and around Jammu by the end of 2013 or at best before March 2013. The fact of the matter is that the project appears to have been suspended or abandoned for reasons not known. One thing , however, is apparent that the roads whatever condition they were at the time of digging in are now in a bad shape . No one bothers .
The condition of the drains is no better. Dust, boulders, mud and dirt are seen on such incomplete lanes and roads putting the general pedestrians and two wheelers four wheelers to all difficulties. If the scheme is found not workable , the same may be made clear with alternate solutions or else the roads and lanes which are left un- repaired, black topped may be taken for the job on priority basis.
