STC registers victory over FCC in BPL

SRINAGAR, Apr 16: STC Sheeri registered 3 wickets victory over FCC Khanpur in the inaugural tie of the Baramulla Premier League, being organised by Army.
Electing to bat first, after winning the toss, FCC Khanpur scored 97 runs for all out in stipulated 20 overs, which the opponent team chased in 19.2 overs with the loss of 7 wickets, during the process.
Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Brig Ravi, Commander, Dagger Artillery Brigade along with Javed Ahmad Dar, President National Congress, Baramula district and JP Singh, DIG, North Kashmir Range, in their speeches said the tournament is aimed to continue cricket fever in the town.
The tournament is aimed to hunt best talented players who will represent “Baramula Badshahs” and “Baramula Tigers” teams for the prestigious “Kashmir Premier League”, scheduled to be held in the month of May.
