STC Warriors, J&K Police script convincing victories

JAMMU, Sept 10: Hosts STC Warriors and J&K Police registered convincing victories in their respective pools in the ongoing Ravinder Khajuria memorial basketball tournament, being organized at MA Stadium here.
While JKP defeated 26 Rajput by 73-29, STC Warriors beat Jammu district 73-50, with STC bench on the floor for most part of the second half.
In other matches of the day, STC Terriers beat 14 Punjab 48-19, Jammu district beat 21 Jat regiment 55-27, BSF Kashmir frontier bt 88 Armed regiment 35-22 and STC Terriers in their second outing of the day beat 51 Unicorn 59-37.
The matches were officiated by national referees Mohd. Shafi, Manoj Kumar, Harpreet Singh and state referees Rajesh Bandral, Vaneet Pangotra, Sumit Dogra, Vinod Dogra, Abhiskek Mahajan and Kannav Gupta.
The tournament is being organized by STC Warriors, under the aegis of J&K Basketball Association.
