JAMMU, Dec 28: Stephens International Public School celebrated its 8th Annual day ‘UTSAV – 2014’ with great success, reverence and magnitude at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
Prof R D Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Jammu University was the chief guest on the occasion.
The function started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by scintillating, vibrant and spectacular performance of the students witnessed by the parents, the social and educational luminaries and the alumni of the institution.
Earlier, the Principal of the School, Satvinder Saini presented the welcome bouquet to the chief guest followed by a thought provoking welcome speech delivered by Rama Jamwal the Vice Principal of the School. The speech enlightened everyone to dream big and be righteous.
The budding students of various sections wooed one and all with their performances of Folk dance, Fusion, Western dance, Drama and Music.
School report was presented by chairman of the School, Dr Kamal Saini.
Prof R D Sharma in his address complimented the endeavors of the staff and the students for putting up stupendous show.
Vote of thanks was presented by Kunal Saini, Student Leader.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
