Stephens International Public School holds Debate Competition

MIRAN SAHIB, Feb 13: Stephens International Public School organized Sahodhaya-Inter-School Debate Competition titled ‘Igniting Minds’ in its school premises.
The topic of the debate was ‘Internet does more harm than good’. The participants spoke in favour and against the Motion in a neck to neck competition where each tried to outshine the other to the best of his/her ability.
The winners of the event were – First position – Agrim Babbar of Heritage School, Second position – Kamisha Sharma of BSF Paloura and Tanupriya of Stephens School, Third position – Aayushree Shekhar of BSF Paloura and consolation prize to Shivani Malhan of Army Public School Akhnoor.
The Principal Satvinder Saini and vice Principal Rama Jamwal congratulated the winner students and lauded the efforts of their teachers.
Esther Williams, Principal Alexander Memorial and General Secretary Youth Talent Search Forum and Prof HL Verma, Retd Principal were the esteemed honoured judges.
The participating schools were GD Goenka, Banyan International, Heritage School, Air Force School Satwari, MV International,  Army Public School Domana,  Stephens International Public School, Army Public School Akhnoor and BSF Paloura.
