Stolen gold ornaments recovered from arrested servant

JAMMU, May 19: Panjtirthi police recovered stolen items from a servant, who was arrested few days back.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Satpal, a resident of Karan Nagar with Panjtirthi police post stating that some unidentified persons had stolen gold ornaments from his house.
Acting over the complaint, a case was registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police detained the servant, working in the house, who confessed to commit the theft.
On his disclosure, police have recovered around 8 tolas of gold ornaments from the possession of the accused.
Further questioning of the accused is going on and more recoveries are likely to be affected from the accused in the days to come.
Police team led by Incharge Panjtirthi police post SI Vikas Hans arrested the accused and recovered the stolen gold ornaments under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
