UDHAMPUR, June 6: Police arrested a notorious bike lifter and recovered a stolen motorcycle from his possession.
Based on the written report lodged by a person namely Mohd Rafiq son of Miran of Darsoo that some unknown miscreants had stolen his Bullet bike bearing registration number JK14G-0961 from outside his house, Police registered a case and started investigation.
During the course of investigation, Police rounded up the suspect, identified as Manzoor Hussain son of Abdullah of Palai, Hiranagar, who confessed to have committed the theft.
On his disclosure, Police recovered the stolen bike and further legal proceeding are underway.
