UDHAMPUR, Oct 17: Police have recovered a stolen scooty and arrested two juveniles who were involved in the theft.
The scooty, bearing Registration number JK14C-9571 was stolen recently and a case FIR Number 427/2022, under Section 379 IPC was registered in this connection at Police Station Udhampur.
Acting on the complaint, a special police team under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur and SHO PS Udhampur Inspector Raghubir Singh, assisted by PSI Sahil Singh Chib, did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footage of the area along with timely human intervention finally rounded up some suspects.
During sustained questioning, two juveniles confessed their involvement in the crime and on their disclosure, stolen scooty was also recovered from Sallian Talab area.
