Stones pelted at Yuvraj’s house after India’s World T20 loss to Lanka

New Delhi, Apr 7:Angry cricket fans pelted stones at Yuvraj Singh’s house in Chandigarh after India lost to Sri Lanka in the final of the World Twenty20 Final last night in Dhaka, according to reports.
Security was beefed up at Yuvraj’s house in Manimajra locality of Chandigarh, following the incident.    The Southpaw, who guided India to the inaugural T20 World Cup win in 2007 and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, however, had a scratchy tournament with a single  half-century.
In the final yesterday, Yuvraj played a scratchy inning, where he played 21 balls for his 11.
India managed to reach a paltry total of 130 runs, which was successfully chased by the islanders with 13 balls remaining.
Yuvraj has been out of form for quite some time now. Barring one innings against Australia (60), the left-hander looked  totally out of rhythm throughout ICC World T20 2014. (UNI)
