JAMMU, Nov 29: Cultural Group—Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) here today staged street play ‘Insaniyat’.
‘Insaniyta’ means humanity which and is based on the principles of realizing others problems and helping others in their problems.
A handout of ESRM stated that for displaying humanity one should not be necessarily rich but one can also show humanity by sharing love and sorrow.
In the play, Suraj Prakash is a retired teacher who always speaks of and teaches the values of humanity to younger generation who can extend help to the poor, orphan, bed ridden, hungry and old people.
He says, “We should try to understand needs and problems of others and we should not judge people by their good or bad deeds as Robinhood was a robber but hero for the poor.”
Actors who performed in the play were Dr. Sumit Gupta, Raju Mad, Mohit Sharma, Ragesh Sharma and Vijay Malla.
